What the Old Dairy will be
Milking parlours were built practical: single storey, wide doorways for the churns, solid floors, good light. That practicality is exactly what makes this building the right one for a stay with level access from the parking space to the back terrace and every room in between. The plan is a bedroom sleeping three across [PLACEHOLDER: bed configuration], an accessible bathroom, and one generous living-kitchen space where the cows once queued. Who it's for
Anyone for whom stairs, thresholds and "cosy" bathroom doors usually rule a place out — and equally anyone who just likes single-storey living with the farmyard outside the window. We want wheelchair users, guests with limited mobility and their companions to get the same Hawksfold as everyone else: the wildlife, the quiet, the Downs on the doorstep. We're also looking hard at step-free access to at least one bird hide as part of the same project.
