Every element in the pack comes from the same process we use across the estate: careful woodland management, air-drying in our barns, and time. The result is a complete set that lights cleanly, burns evenly, and fills the room with calm warmth.

What’s Inside

• 50 natural firelighters — clean-burning, resin-free, and reliable. They light easily and stay alight long enough for your kindling and logs to catch without fuss.

• 3 kg of estate kindling — hand-split and air-dried in our barns. Each piece is the right size for consistent ignition, producing quick, bright heat to get your logs established.

• 15 kg of ash hardwood logs — the same wood we use in our cottages and pizza ovens. Ash burns with a steady flame and balanced heat, leaving little ash behind. Every log has been air-dried in the open flow of our barns for over a year and carries the Ready to Burn certification for low moisture content and efficient combustion.

From Our Woodland to Yours

All our wood comes from managed stands on and around the Hawksfold estate. We fell and process each tree with long-term stewardship in mind, creating space for regeneration and wildlife while providing a renewable source of hardwood. Nothing about the process is rushed — we work with the seasons, drying our logs naturally under cover until they’re ready to burn cleanly and well.

Our barns sit at the edge of the woodland, open to the south-westerly winds that roll in from the Downs. That steady flow of air — not forced heat — is what readies our wood the right way. It takes time, but it’s worth the wait.
