From our woodland to your fire

All of our kindling is cut from timber grown and managed within our own woodland on the Surrey–Sussex border. We select fast-lighting species to ensure a reliable start without waste. After splitting, each length is air-dried in our traditional barns until it reaches the ideal moisture level for quick ignition and steady burn. Nothing rushed; everything seasoned with time and air alone.

Our firelighters are made from natural wood shavings and wax, chosen for their clean burn and ease of use. Just one or two beneath a small stack of kindling is enough to start a strong flame without odour or residue. Like our logs, they leave behind nothing unnecessary—only warmth and the quiet pleasure of a well-made fire.
