Hawthorn Cabin
A coming-soon bolthole for two, tucked where the pasture meets the wood — log stove, big bed, and the dawn chorus as your alarm clock.
What Hawthorn Cabin will be
A simple, well-made timber cabin for two, sited right on the seam between open pasture and old woodland — close enough to the trees that in May the dawn chorus arrives through the walls. Inside: one good room done properly, with a log stove, a bed facing the view, and a small kitchen for slow breakfasts. Outside, a sheltered deck for coffee while the wood wakes up. [PLACEHOLDER: final layout, bathroom details and heating to be confirmed.]
Who it's for
Couples who want to disappear for a few days without going far: fire lit by six, an owl somewhere in the dark, and no plans beyond a walk on the Downs and maybe a morning in a hide. If you want to be even further from everyone, its sister cabin Rowan sits deeper in the trees.
A note while we build
Hawthorn Cabin is a concept we're actively working on — the site is chosen, the design isn't final, and details on this page may evolve before opening. For estate news as it happens, follow the Estate Journal, or see what's already open.

Hawthorn Cabin is still being built — we're aiming to open in [PLACEHOLDER: season]. Leave your details and we'll write the moment the calendar opens, in good time to claim a spring week when the dawn chorus is at full volume.
